Are We Supposed to Know When Regarding the Rapture & Jesus Second Coming?

Jesus said in Luke 12:56:

“When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?

Jesus said in John 16:13:

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Jesus, through Paul, teaches us in 1 Thes. 5:4-5

But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.  You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

Jesus used the the prophet Hosea to tell us what we fail to hear.

Hosea 4:6:

..my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

So what are we to do?

Jesus commands us through his apostles.

Acts 3:19-21:

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,  and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
